AFFIRMATION OF FAITH
In infinite love and mercy God made Christ, who knew
no sin, to be sin for us, so that in Him we might be
made the righteousness of God. Led by the Holy
Spirit we sense our need, acknowledge our
sinfulness, repent of our transgressions, and exercise
faith in Jesus as Lord and Christ, as Substitute and
Example. This faith which receives salvation comes
through the divine power of the Word and is the gift of
God's grace. Through Christ we are justified, adopted
as God's sons and daughters, and delivered from the
lordship of sin. Through the Spirit we are born again
and sanctified; the Spirit renews our minds, writes
God's law of love in our hearts, and we are given the
power to live a holy life. Abiding in Him we become
partakers of the divine nature and have the assurance
of salvation now and in the judgment.

What we Believe

Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, provides salvation and eternal life now. (Galatians 2:20; Hebrews 12:1, 2; Philippians 2:5-8; I John 5:11-13)

There is one God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14; I Peter 1:2)

The Bible is the only rule of faith and practice. (II Timothy 2:13; II Peter 1:19-21)

The Ten Commandments reveal God’s will, sin and reminds all their need of a savior. (Genesis 3:17-19; Romans 5:12-15; Galatians 3:22-24)

The Seventh-day Sabbath is a binding part of God’s unchanging and perpetual law, and has been made for our holistic benefit.
(Exodus 20:8-11; Deuteronomy 5:12-25; Hebrews 4:9-11)

One who is justified by faith, God declares righteous on the ground of Jesus Christ’s substitutionary life and death.
(Romans 4:3-5; Galatians 3:7-11)

God writes His law upon the hearts and minds of believers in Jesus by His Holy Spirit. (James 2:10-12; Hebrews 8:7-10; II Corinthians 3:3)

Participation in Jesus’ body includes baptism, worship, the Lord’s Supper and spiritual gifts. (Ephesians 4:8, 11; Matthew 28:18-20; I Corinthians 11:23-29; Hebrews 10:22-25)

Seventh-day Adventists are called to announce Christ’s return to the world by proclaiming the Gospel. (Matthew 24:14; Acts 1:8; Revelations (10:8-11; 14:6-11)
